Welcome to the KSOP - Karlsruhe School of Optics & Photonics

Multidisciplinary environment for first-class research, education, and innovation.

The terms optics & photonics are derived from the Greek optikós, referring to vision and photon which means light. Hence, the areas of optics & photonics cover the research relating to light, including its use in many modern industries.

The Karlsruhe School of Optics & Photonics (KSOP) offers English language Master and Doctorate Programs in Optics & Photonics.
