For the Master course we consider applicants who have accomplished degrees in:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mathematics
- Computer Science (with minor in mathematics)
- Biology (with minor in physics)
- Medical Sciences (with minor in physics)
Candidates with other equivalent but less common degrees (e.g. Mechatronic, Nanotechnology) will also be considered.
A profound knowledge in mathematics is mandatory for all applicants!
Due to the inhomogeneous nature of the degrees and education, an individual assignment of one or two adjustment courses will be determined for each student during the first semester to ensure a common background on most important topics within the diverse field of Optics and Photonics.
